Accessibility at ChildrenHub

ChildrenHub is committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming environment for every child and family, in our centres and online. We follow the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code.

This website is designed to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA: clear heading structure, descriptive alternative text for images, labelled form fields, visible keyboard focus indicators, high-contrast text, large readable type and touch targets, and full keyboard navigation including a skip-to-content link.

You can navigate the entire site with a keyboard using Tab, Shift+Tab and Enter, and the layout adapts to screen magnification and mobile screens without horizontal scrolling.

Our educators work with families, resource consultants and community partners to support children with additional needs, including individual support plans, accessible routines and adapted materials.
