Children’s Town Playcare Center is play-based. At Children’s City School, you choose between Play-Based and Montessori. Every program follows Ontario’s early learning standards with qualified educators.
First separations handled gently through sensory play, gross-motor movement and language modelling. The day is calm and predictable, inspired by How Does Learning Happen?
The busiest, most social years. Children choose from inquiry stations, work in small groups and begin longer projects that carry across a week.
A play-based path at City School for toddlers: gentle routines, sensory exploration and language modelling that support confident first separations.
A play-based path at City School for preschoolers: curiosity-led projects, strong social-emotional learning and kindergarten readiness through flexible group inquiry.
The first Casa cycle at City School: a prepared Montessori environment where children develop independence, concentration and a love of learning through practical life, sensorial exploration and early language and math materials.
The second Casa cycle at City School: older children deepen their work with Montessori materials, build complex skills and emerge as confident learners ready for their next school journey.
A half-day nursery school for families who don’t need full-day childcare. Children settle into classroom routines, build independence and confidence, and prepare gently for their transition to school. Choose a morning (8:00 AM – 11:00 AM) or afternoon (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM) session.
