Children’s Town Playcare Center is a play-based centre through and through. At Children’s City School, parents choose between Play-Based and Montessori learning. Both share the same leadership, hiring standards, safety policies and warm expectations.

Playcare is deliberately calm. Rooms are uncluttered, materials are natural, and the day follows a predictable order so toddlers can feel secure. The program is inspired by Ontario’s early learning approach and the principles of How Does Learning Happen? — with emphasis on play, exploration, relationships, belonging, well-being, engagement and expression.
City School adds structure without losing the joy. It offers Toddler and Preschool programs, but the defining feature is choice: parents can enrol in a Play-Based room or a Montessori room. Both paths lead to the same confident kindergarten readiness, delivered in the way that suits your child best.
Both learning paths share the same daily rhythm, outdoor time, nutrition and safety standards. The difference is how the classroom is structured and how children guide their own learning.
Play-Based Learning
